To enable mounting of usb-storage edit/etc/hotplug/hotplug.subfs.functionsmodify from line 158 to read hdd_usb|hdd_camera) fstype=fs=floppyfss, #everything is fine ;; After the mod issue the command as root/etc/init.d/hotplug restart Works for me anyway with no other modification or reverting to an olderversion of hotplug.
