Can't Send Link in IE7
09/01/2019 18:33
After installing SP3 I can't send a Web Site Link or Page. This is the only glitch since installeing SP3 In IE7/Internet Options/Programs there is no program listed for Email. The only choice in the drop down is <Windows Live Mail>, what ever that is.

Outlook Express is selected as Default in OLE.

My other Dell Computer with SP2/IE7 Outlook Express is listed for Email in IE7/Internet Options/Progreams and works ok. And OLE is shown in the drop down.

I have reinstalled IE7 and OLE but no help.

Need help on this one !Thanks Fred

09/01/2019 18:33 - The date and time was Tuesday, January 27, 2009 11:57:18 AM, and on a whim, Fred pounded out on the keyboard: Hi Fred, I'm not around a workstation that has IE7 installed, but you should be able to click on the icon at the far left of the address bar and drag it to an open mail window (or anywhere for that matter).

Using IE6 and Mozilla Thunderbird, I just dragged the e icon onto this window and let go: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ It should work the same in IE7.

Also check your Set Program Access and Defaults to set your mail client.

You could uninstall IE7 and go back to IE6 (although IE7 should work also), but if SP3 was installed after IE7, you'd have to uninstall SP3 and then uninstall IE7, then reapply SP3.
