05/11/2018 15:30
Hi, What should I do to be able to send the document from Writer(OpenOffice) directly as an attachment in Thunderbird? Till now when I give this command: File > Send as MS-Doc attachment theresult is a new message in Thunderbird but without any attachment.

What about this?

The key there is save if it is a new doc make sure to save it before you try this. Click File>Send>MS-Dos attachment, it will start t-bird and voila, the attachment will appear.
