14/05/2018 9:30
I have a problem using my SB Live 5.1 with fedora 3 and alsa. Simply Icannot hear the sound on the front and subwoofer speakers. :-/ Can anyone use all the six speakers ?In that case con you send me the output of the commands: amixer scontents and amixer contents ? I suspect I wrong configured the mixer parameters and I'd like to seea working configuration.

Thank you very much for the help.

14/05/2018 9:30 - I'd like to use my soudcard for a real 5.1 sound system.

In the past I used RedHat 9 with oss and all worked perfectly.

What do yuo suggest to use for the tune of the mixer parameters: alsamixer or the kmix provided with KDE ? If I don't ask you too much can you send me the output of theese commandsamixer scontents and amixer contents for your sistem ? Or at least can you suggest me which parameters you use ? Thank you very much.

SB Live 5.1 does work with linux well though - turn all the settingsstarting with EMU101K up to max and work your way on from there. It workson my system with the simmilar 5.1 digital card.
